Dr. Jason Lichten, MD, FACS* is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the founder and director of Central Ohio Plastic Surgery, Inc. with offices near Columbus in both Lancaster and Groveport, Ohio. He offers a full range of plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgeries including breast and body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and breast reconstruction. Dr. Lichten maintains that patient satisfaction begins with skilled surgical technique, but he is also dedicated to providing personalized patient care throughout each phase of treatment and recovery.
Before becoming a plastic surgeon in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Lichten earned his Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1998 and then completed a full 5-year General Surgery Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. While there, Dr. Lichten received numerous awards including the Leon Ginzburg Achievement Award for Outstanding Chief Resident.
Dr. Lichten has received advanced training in plastic surgery and has researched and published papers on a variety of medical topics, including mastectomy, mommy makeovers, and skin cancer treatment.
Dr. Lichten proudly opened Central Ohio Plastic Surgery, Inc. in 2005 to offer plastic surgery for Columbus, Fairfield County, and all of Southeast Ohio. He holds staff privileges at Fairfield Medical Center, The James Cancer Hospital, Columbus Children’s Hospital, Mount Carmel East, and Barix Clinics of Ohio.
Born in Columbus and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Lichten returned to his roots and completed a Plastic Surgery Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. His broad training included all aspects of plastic surgery, including reconstructive, hand, burn, and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Lichten lives in Central Ohio with his wife and their three children.
